Rocking Chair Mechanism

The DC Rocking Chair Mechanism is a simple motor driven mechanism for creating that “ghost in the rocking chair” effect. When powered, the mechanism rocks a rocking chair back and forth slowly while a special trail bar keeps it in place.

Rocking chair not included.  Modifications to your rocking chair are required and guides may need to be installed to keep the chair from "walking" away. 

All steel construction, 110V high torque motor with cooling fan, 110V wiring

• Requires detailed dimensions of your chair so the mechanism can be fabricated to fit.  This is not a “universal” kit (but very close).
• Requires Stable mounting surface (lag bolted into groud)
